Hi All,
I have a question and this is regarding my husband.
We have filed our 485 and have got our EADs and AP's. Our 180 days will be over by jan end.
My husband works for Company (A) as a consultant. He is placed at a Client (C) and there is another consulting company (B) in between. Client (C) is a direct client of Company (B). The relationship is like A -> B -> C.
My husband wants to join the Company (B), and keeps on working for the same client (C).
Has anyone done something similar to this and can anyone share any legal issue with this. I will really appreciate if someone can guide us more.

I have seen people getting photos with Amitabh Bachhan or Shahrukh khan.
Does it make them a film star or even give them a break in films?

As a loyal reader of greatandhra.com shared a blasphemous incident with us through mail and we have written and uploaded that news yesterday. And that is about Lord Ganesh�s picture on beer bottles made by one of the US breweries.

Countless mails have inundated the mail box of greatandhra.com admin with sharing of anguish by hundreds of readers for this blasphemous act of that breweries company. They stated that they have contacted that Lost Coast Brewery with a complaint and also forwarded the response mails from that company. All the forwarded mails have got the same �copy-paste� response from Lost Coast GM/Sales. Here is that:
�Your words, thoughts and beliefs are part of a culture that I personally respect and believe that the owner group of the brewery share with me. Please note that I will act to evaluate this issue and meet directly with the owner group towards mitigating your concerns. You have contacted the correct person for your concerns and they have not fallen upon deaf ears. Best Regards, Harmony and Peace.

It is good that many are fighting with that company to see the bottles removed from stalls immediately. The follow up on this incident requires continuous force and Hindu community should see that such blasphemy will not repeat again. And also ensure that those beer bottles are not in market with Lord Ganesh or any other divine picture of Hindu religion. Some suggested to make this news reach Sivasena, RSS and VHP as well. And we wish our readers do that as the voice of thousands will be louder than that of one.

I got an RFE about my company's latest Tax statement for the current year. When my attorney sent one, I got I140 approved immediately.
What I heard from my friends nowadays, usually it's company's ability to pay. If the company does not show sufficient income even to pay the employees, then there could be an issue. But just wait for the notice. I think your attorney gets the notice

From my understanding you got your H1B approved(for 3 yrs) beyond 6 yrs even though 140 is once approved and later revoked. But I heard from my lawyers that once 140 is revoked/withdrawn its not possible for H1b extension beyond 6 yrs. Could you please let me know what details you attested for the RFE to convince USCIS? I am also in a kind of similar boat.

Well people say that a) Dem should talk about CIR too.
b) CIR seems dead.. No relief. c) Tracking down illegals.
1) If they start tracking down illegals and only enforce these strict loose
and local forces also help them, they can deport these illegals.
(True but this is a never ending process).
2) If they don't bring CIR now and just forget about it.(More illegals are comming in every day -- Experts do say Border Fense can never stop them).
3) American needs people like these to work in the factories and farms.
(How can this need be fullfilled-- make a program to bring them in legally
-- This is guest worker program)
4) According to the new CIR - illegals will be paying back taxes before taking the first step to citizenship.

Went in on Friday to get the name change done. I will get it back on 9th July about 11 working days thought web site claimed 6-8 working days.
For 16, take a copy of what ever visa you are on.. H4/H1 etc.
Column 31 should be left blank as its a name change.
PS use new signature below photograph for new passport. Also new name should be filled in the form.

I am in the same position too. A couple of days back I talked to my lawyer and she told me its ok and that she has never heard of anyone's case being rejected or getting a RFE jus because they dint write their name in the native language.
One of friend's lawyer also said its not a big deal and if u r from India the USCIS wont bother abt it(dunno how true this is!)

Please appply EAD renewal in 120 days advance. You will get in time. :)
If I work on EAD and do not get the EAD card before it gets expires, do I need to inform my employer about the status. If I inform them they will be removing my name from the payroll and it will be hard to include it again. It is like my job getting terminated.

Also, Employment through CP is really an anormalty in EB, since EB basically requires you to be physically present in this country, so almost bars the possibility of CP. Yes, it is leagal, but not really practical. So, the number of people seeking FB 485 is way much larger than number of people seeking 485 CP.

Did you surrender your I94 on the way out? If so, did the IO give you a new I94 when you came back in? The other gentleman made a comment about not surrendering the old I94 if traveling by road and if the trip is less than 30 days.
When we have traveled to Matamoros, MX for stamping we had AP and H1/H4. On return we have used H1/H4. NO questions asked at the border check post.

Can this be used to file new I 485 with NEW PERM LABR - EB2??
